The King’s Language in the KJV: Bursting the Global Bubble of Illusion

May 2, 1611 – May 2, 2026

On this day, 415 years ago, the King James Version of the Bible was published. It put the Word of God into the hands of the common person, in a language they could understand.

Yesterday, Jonathan Cook—a journalist I met years ago when he was reporting from Nazareth—published “The West’s bubble of illusion about Israel is finally being burst.” He provided the letter: a geopolitical and historical analysis.

Today, I publish the Spirit of the letter: a forensic audit of the global economy, grounded in the Word that the KJV made available to all.

The Invisible Hand has been weaving this thread for 415 years. The Word is still speaking. The question is: who has ears to hear?

Yesterday Johnathan Cook published an article that elicited this comment, The US and Israel are joined at the hip, both believing they’re God’s Chosen Nation.

Israel thinks itself the greatest genuine Theocracy on Earth, starting with wanting to destroy Iran the competition, the only other Theocracy in the Middle East.

The Israel-US WAR with Iran is bringing fearful uncertainties about the Future of this Material World of MONEY and THINGS and the Global Economy. People consumed and focused only by material things, cannot see the Invisible Spirit of God at work in the material World.

In our World of TODAY’S, Secular radio, TV and print media, both Mainstream and Alternate are mentioning Armageddon and Apocalyptic of late more that ever since the turn of the Century. We’re all aware of that!

Even the “EXPERTS” don’t recognize what the News is telling us in Secular language. The Israel-US WAR vs Iran is the beginning on the Path to Armageddon, the great Day of the Battle of Almighty God between Theocratic Israel + Theocratic US Christian Nationalism vs Theocratic Iran. How far will the casual observer let it go?

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which says, By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive:

For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.’ Matthew 13:14-15

To the thinking and questioning among the People, this is what is bringing Armageddon to Humanity, long prophesied as coming at the End of the Age according to the Word of God in the Revelation of Jesus Christ 16:13-16,

“For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”

It doesn’t take an Einstein to translate the old Bible “kings of the Earth” to who is running this world Today starting with $Billionaires Politicians listen to.

Even unbelievers not knowing what’s pictured cover to cover in the Bible, still vaguely know about The Christ’s admonitions about the rich on Earth.

THE WEST’S BUBBLE OF ILLUSION ABOUT ISRAEL – AND ABOUT ITSELF — IS FINALLY BEING BURST

Hear the word of the Lord, you Israelites, because the Lord has a charge to bring against you who live in the land:
There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgement of God in the land.
There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
Hosea 4:1-6

It was only an afterthought writing this, did I search Google for a video relevant to the theme of this post and I got lucky! What an Historical treasure trove! I didn’t know this before the beginning of the video, but King James released his Bible on May 2nd from Hampton Court. What made this more interesting for me was I visited the Palace of Hampton Court in 1968.

We mostly know about Christian martyrs at the beginning of Christianity, but this video shows there were Christian martyrs the Catholic Church Establishment put to Death in terrible ways, those who were spreading the Bible around during Europe’s Mid-evil Age. History buffs will like this video.

  1. Great and thought-provoking essay.

I feel that the following sonnet, titled To the Infinite, the Finite & Our Foolishness, I wrote some years ago at least somewhat qualifies. …
    .
Life’s irony’s the view we benefit
    from physical, material delight
as though naught counts but what’s felt or in sight
while ignored our souls are desperate
    for what should count the most—the infinite;
yet we’ll go on till it’s too late, despite
much instinct in us of what’s truly right
that life’s content is so inadequate.
Regardless, to that same life we cling tight
since the physical solely seems definite
thus for material matters we fight
    —like the blind-mind addict’s barbiturate—
    while Great Hereafter’s placed post-the-finite
so skewed are values foremost we’ll permit.
    .
[And, no, I don’t plan on quitting my day job to become a master poet.]

  2. I had a friend who, though not desperate for funds, attended a church service, yet otherwise very rarely did so, bought a lottery ticket (or vice versa) — and then seemed demoralized when he had not won! His was a prime example of a person who fell prey to his own prayer: i.e. he entertained the notion that 1) God would curry favor with him over so many other praying lotto players, and 2) the Divine would grant anyone such a lavish material wish as scoring the jackpot.

I, even as a big fan of Christ’s miracles and fundamental message, would be quite willing to consistently sincerely thank God with every meal, if everyone on Earth—and not just a portion of the planet’s populace—had enough clean, safe drinking water and nutritional food to maintain a normal, healthy daily life. And I genuinely would be pray-fully ‘thankful’ if every couple’s child would survive their serious illness rather than just a small portion of such sick children. [On the other hand, what makes so many of us believe that collective humanity should be able to enjoy the pleasures of free will, but cry out for and expect divine mercy and rescue when our free will ruins our figurative good day—i.e. that we should have our cake and eat it, too?]

I realize it’s still socially awkward to question one of humanity’s largest and most sacrosanct institutions [prayer and perhaps even saying grace to an omnipotent/omniscient entity]. But I, basically a believer in Christ’s miracles and fundamental message, know I’m far from being alone in having a problem with thanking God for relative trivialities, such as a big-money-making professional sports-team’s win, especially with hunger regularly happening internationally.

P.S. Also, I wonder about the belief that God ALWAYS answers prayers, either in the positive or negative. I personally don’t find insufferable the concept that the Divine may not answer prayers, according to how we mere mortals define ‘answer’.
