On February 1, 1975, the culmination of a multi-year struggle was realized when a casual acquaintance—a prominent French Canadian artist moving to Quebec City—turned over his beautifully decorated apartment, complete with original artworks, located in the heart of the city on Hôtel de Ville in Montreal. The baseline rent was an uncompromised $69 a month. Seven months later, following a sudden and relentless internal mandate to follow the Spirit blindly into the unknown, every possession was sold and that dream sanctuary was completely surrendered.

Thirty-one years later, that identical path of blind trust was completed in physical reality. Today, the sanctuary is preserved on that very same Hôtel de Ville street, relocated to the Hull sector of Gatineau. Over a twenty-year residency, every other unit in the building shows my space stands as the largest and most well laid-out apartment in the 5 unit building. Yet, while the predatory modern market has driven the smaller, inferior units in the building to a cost of $1,000 a month with heating extra, my space remains completely shielded by divine favour at a fixed cost of $575 a month, heated, with a dedicated parking space included.

This unyielding defence of the witness extends directly into the everyday logistics of survival on a fixed income. Years ago, while relying entirely on a modest $1,700 Old Age Security check, a 17-year-old mattress had collapsed into a limp, lumpy frame that desperately needed replacement. After scraping together $800 to buy a replacement, a distinct and commanding spiritual impulse intervened: do not buy the mattress. Christ required that exact currency to be deployed instead to print dozens of custom T-shirts bearing a dual-tiered diagnostic across the front: “NO JESUS NO PEACE / KNOW JESUS KNOW PEACE,” to be given away absolutely free on the streets.

Literal obedience was chosen over personal physical comfort, and the funds were put down for the shirts. The very next morning, a neighbour living directly across the street—not knowing I needed a mattress—was moving to another city. Before departing, he knocked on my door and asked if I needed a mattress? He gave me a high-end, nearly new premium Kingsdown mattress as a parting gift. The mathematical framework of the retail economy was bypassed in a single night, establishing a permanent physical receipt that when resources are completely expended to bear witness to the Living Word, the immediate environment is commanded to handle the rest. I know all the mini miracles, divine provisions and blessings that came from my Faith in God over the last 51 years if others don’t know. There are too many to mention.

The examples of God’s provision to me as a Faithful and True Witness continues. My only income is CanaDa’s Old Age Security of $1950/month to pay rent, utilities, food, all car expenses and every other rising cost to live in the Free World. Even so, I am able to donate regularly to the 4 Homeless shelters in the National Capital District, the increasing number of beggars on the streets and others. Miraculously my bank balance grows every month.

This week my female Calico cat needed to be neutered. Contacting 4 local Veterinarians, with their monopoly, they all wanted between $600-$800 to do just that. God provided relief to me as a Faithful worker in the Vineyard arranging for the neutering, all vaccinations, and embedding a microchip for a total cost of $350. How could I not be thankful every Day, not just on Thanksgiving 1 day a year.

The writing on the wall can increasingly be seen in the World. Everyone knows what’s implied saying it, but most People don’t know the details of that Bible history from 2564 years ago?

Ancient Babylon in Bible Middle East history, was the material World’s 1st Military-Economic Superpower. Babylon set the rules the weaker, poorer kingdoms who had to obey or face the consequences. All the Empires in history behaved the same way. The US is the latest, greatest of them all, now in decline like all Imperial Powers before WWII. The US inherited the Imperial mantle from the British Empire, WWI & WWII bankrupting them.

Modern secular cultural critics independently track the culmination of this multi-generational trap, identifying it as a systemic, multi-trillion-dollar empire psychosis designed to keep the public locked in a permanent state of distraction and escapism while the underlying structures rot.

The Biblical Writing on the Wall record in Daniel 5 has more parallels with Trump’s US and the World. The king of Babylon, now called Iraq, put on a feast for 1000 of the elites in the kingdom. Trump wants a majestic Ballroom to hold 1000 of US elites.

They drank wine and praised the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood & stone. That’s when the Writing on the Wall appeared. Superpower Imperial Power status was transferred to ancient Persia, now called Iran. Some parallel these 2564 years later.

The Prime Minister talks of a “two-state solution” and a “lasting peace”—then demotes a Liberal MP for supporting a bill that would stop Canadian weapons from being used to kill Palestinians.

Sean Casey, MP for Charlottetown, voted his conscience on Bill C-233, the No More Loopholes Act. He was warned by the Liberal whip. He was removed from his position by the PM. The message is clear: dissent on Israel will not be tolerated. Plus you will lose high-paying jobs with perks the people you are supposed to serve never see. Fear of losing all that will keep people quiet and obedient.

Meanwhile, this same Prime Minister:
— At the UN called Trump’s genocidal language “the language of war,” appeasing Trump the Emperor, having no clothes.
— Switched to French so the English-speaking majority would not understand his own words coming out of his own mouth.
— Borrows billions to militarize the Canadian economy.
— Sends $25 billion in BORROWED MONEY to Zelensky to continue a NATO war against Russia that Finland—a front-line state—says is based on a myth.

He speaks of peace while funding war. He speaks of justice while silencing those who seek it. He speaks of international law while applying it “with varying rigour depending on the identity of the accused or the victim.”

Power corrupts, and it blinded this Prime Minister so he doesn’t even have the Moral or Political courage to acknowledge the illegal Israeli-US WAR they brought to the Middle East violates the very same International Law Carney demonized Putin for violating.

Carney said on the threat to Jews in Belleville: “We stand against all forms of violence, all forms of hate.” He does not have the Spiritual, Moral or Political courage to call out Israel’s murderous, genocidal massacre of Palestinian women and children having no defence against Israel’s US and Canadian weapons as violence in its worst form.

You cannot serve God and Mammon. A house divided against itself cannot stand.
