General-President Eisenhower’s Cross of Iron speech to the American Society of Newspaper Editors April 16, 1953, saying, “Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children..
The Pentagon Budget was $50 Billion in 1961, the year General Eisenhower WARNED us about the inherent dangers of the US Military-Industrial Complex.
“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.” We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defence with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.“
The MSM are supposed to be the alert and knowledgeable citizenry Speaking Truth To Power, when it appears they are more like Propagandists for the Status Quo like the 5th Horseman of the Apocalypse, the US being the biggest ARMS MERCHANT in the History of Nations.
The Pentagon wants $1500 Billion for next year. Are we paying for our own demise? Prime Minister Carney wants to join with the Pentagon militarizing the Canadian Economy with BORROWED MONEY. His political spin he is ushering a generational change is just that — spin. He is doubling down on the way it’s always been, preparing for the next WAR. He is abandoning CanaDa’s traditional role and divine role of Peace Maker in this World at War with itself. He is not leading to more Peace and Security, but less in the coming years if we don’t blow ourselves up before then.
Just four months after declaring those high Ideals in his ‘Cross of Iron speech April 16, 1953, that dictating another nation’s form of government is “indefensible,” President Eisenhower authorized Operation Ajax in August 1953. The CIA-MI6 joint covert operation overthrew Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh—Iran’s democratically elected leader—after Mosaddegh nationalized the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company. The immediate abandonment of Eisenhower’s own third and fourth principles set off a long cascade of historical consequences:
It dismantled Iran’s constitutional democracy and re-established the absolute rule of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. A Quarter-century of autocratic rule under the Shah generated the popular backlash that erupted into the 1979 Iranian Revolution, replacing the monarchy with the Islamic Republic.
The long-term aftermath directly established the decades of sanctions, currency warfare, and military standoffs that persist between Washington and Tehran.
The gap between Eisenhower’s public rhetoric on sovereign self-determination and the covert action taken in August 1953 highlights how quickly principle gave way to imperial statecraft—setting in motion the exact structural whirlwind that continues to unfold with the US-Iran WAR TODAY

From Cain’s Field to the Trillion-Dollar Cage: The Foreclosure of the Sixth Commandment
The story of human conflict does not begin with vast empires, grand strategies, or geopolitical alliances. It begins in a field between two brothers.
When Cain struck down Abel in Genesis 4, the catastrophe was not merely physical death; it was the total breakdown of the sacred bond of brotherhood and accountability. Cain’s cynical reply to the Almighty—“Am I my brother’s keeper?”—set into motion a moral posture that has haunted human history ever since. Violence became the default tool for human grievance, jealousy, and power.

Humans killing humans was verboten by God and even though Cain feared Capital Punishment, God forbade it!

By Genesis 6, Scripture records that this corruption had spread from a single act of fratricide into a global condition:

The Flood was not an arbitrary act of divine anger; it was the severe response to a creation that had desecrated the sacredness of human life until the earth itself could no longer bear the weight of shed blood.
The Divine Interruption: The Sixth Commandment
When God brought Israel to the foot of Mount Sinai, He did not offer a complex philosophical treatise on social order. He issued ten brief, razor-sharp imperatives carved into stone. Among them stood the Sixth Commandment:
In its original Hebrew context (Lo Tirtzach), the command specifically forbids unlawful, intentional killing—the taking of innocent human life. It was a direct divine veto against the ancient world’s doctrine that “might makes right.” It established a revolutionary truth: Human life belongs to God, not to the state, the king, or the stronger brother. To destroy an innocent human being is to deface the image of God (Imago Dei).
The Lineage of Blood in Modern Babylon

Despite this clear line in the sand, modern civilization has continually sought ways to legitimize what Sinai explicitly condemned. The ancient Babylonian archetype of military-economic domination has simply evolved into a high-tech, trillion-dollar architecture of indifference:

- The Deception of the War Buzz: On September 13, 1976, a printed record captured a warning against an “idea being put out subtly and deceptively by the government that we have to get prepared for a war with Russia.” Fifty years later, that exact propaganda engine is selling industrial-scale weapons of death while sleepwalking humanity toward a nuclear abyss.
- The Malevolence of Financial Sieges: Modern economic warfare is rationalized under polished policy jargon. In March 2025, U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent openly admitted to Congress that he was taking deliberate steps to crash Iran’s currency and create an artificial dollar shortage but a real depression for the average Iranian before the US started raining bombs, death and destruction from the sky. This calculated policy was engineered to force a great depression on ordinary families and drive them into the streets—violating the spirit of Lo Tirtzach just as clearly as a kinetic bomb.
- The Inescapable Reflux: When nations disregard the sanctity of life abroad, they inevitably internalize that same lawlessness at home. As President John F. Kennedy warned in his 1963 Peace Speech, forcing a rival into an existential corner is evidence only of a “collective death-wish for the world.”
The Looming Debt Crisis: Is America Following the Path of Collapsed Empires?
The Stand of the Faithful
Jesus carried the Sixth Commandment to its absolute ultimate depth in the Sermon on the Mount, teaching that the seed of murder begins in the unrepentant heart—in anger, contempt, and the refusal to seek peace.
To honor “Thou Shalt Not Kill” in our present era requires more than refraining from physical violence. It demands:
Unmasking Strategic Deception: Refusing to call destruction “diplomacy” or engineered economic famine “policy.
Remembering Our Common Humanity: Recalling that every human being across every border carries the breath of the Creator.
The choice before humanity today remains the same choice presented to Cain, to Noah’s generation, and to Israel at Sinai. It is the same choice presented to the US in 1976 as The Kansas City Times quoting me September 13, 1976 as recorded, “There are 30 months before the fate of the world will be sealed with EITHER Destruction OR the Universal Brotherhood of Man,¨ he said. ¨The 30 month figure concerned a Treaty between Israel and Egypt.¨
NOTE: This does not say Armageddon happens in 30 months from the September 1976 historical record.
Exactly 30 months later a treaty between Israel and Egypt was signed, The Camp David Accord. In the 29th month the surprise Iranian Revolution happened. Anyone who has eyes to see can see these 50 years later, the US has opted for the Destruction choice recorded by The Kansas City Times 50 years ago.
What a society sows in violence, it reaps in domestic decay. Will we yield to the spirit of violence and face systemic collapse, or will we return to the Commandment of Life?
