The Title comes from an email I received this morning from Michael Brenner. He doesn’t have a Blog or an account on X. He is a prominent American scholar specializing in International Relations, American foreign policy, and transatlantic affairs. He is best known for his critical analyses of U.S. geopolitical strategies, European security, and global power dynamics.
This is what he wrote: BRETHREN
There is an old blues ballad called: “The Devil Don’t Knock Twice.”* Assuming that he knocks at all — or just sidles up to you at a Delta crossroads with a proposition that you can’t refuse. The specter of Satan requesting entry – into your home, into your soul – suggests that you have a choice whether or not to let him in. That evidently is true for even the most downtrodden, the most desperate, the most vulnerable.
We Americans – individually and collectively – have been privileged with three knocks, each seeking entry.
The first time, we took a deliberate look through the peephole, sized him up as off-beat, hyper, a little weird but quelled our doubts in opening the door. After much strained and acrid palaver, we agreed to a 4-year lease on the premises.
At its end, he aggressively demanded an extension of the same duration – the 2nd knock. With decidedly mixed feelings we turned him down. An inspection of the property had revealed widespread damage. The house was desecrated with Satanic graffiti and reeked of foul sulfuric fumes. Worse, the Evil One had turned it into a refuge for a coven of unisex demons from the nether world.
Furious at the rejection, he incited them to ransack the place and to seize it in his name. We managed to repel them – just barely. That wasn’t the end of it, though. Hardly. The diabolical schemer launched a massive all-out campaign to overturn the eviction. Spurious lawsuits, incessant protest rallies, random acts of vandalism – even blatant intimidation of judges and prosecutors.
Satan himself raging everywhere – fuming, breathing fire and brimstone – vowing revenge against all who had played a part in his eviction, who had thwarted him in any way – or else! This went on for years.
Then, he knocked on the door a 3rd time – declaring loudly that he would make the house a great mansion again – if we let him in – or else. We opened the door wide.

Those with eyes wide open can see the powers of this age, now hold the world hostage to greater wars — and the very rumours of war foretold 40 years ago.
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plow shares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. Isaiah 2
Micaiah delivers this truth to the king and his ally King Jehoshaphat of Judah, at the risk of his life, after which he is slapped by a false prophet, struck by the king, and imprisoned until Ahab’s return from battle. However, Ahab does not return, dying in battle as Micaiah foretold.
Factually, that Biblical War was over the King of Israel wanting to get control of the Golan Heights. It took over 1,380 years from the Time of Micaiah until Israel got control of the annexed Golan Heights in the 1967 War.
Micah the Jewish Prophet some 150 years later faced the same risk facing the ruler of Israel declaring: Hearken now to this, you heads of the house of Jacob and you rulers of the house of Israel, who condemn justice and pervert all that is straight. The Major Jewish Prophet Isaiah complements that prophecy in chapter 59: Rebelling and denying the Lord, and drawing away from following our God, speaking oppression and perverseness, sprouting and giving forth from the heart words of falsehood. Justice has turned away backward, and Righteousness stands far off, for TRUTH has stumbled in the street, and EQUITY cannot come.
It it any wonder, when the ‘chosen people of God’ were already on that Path some 2700 years ago, so many People don’t know what is TRUE and what to BELIEVE in OUR Generations.
Continuing in the Spirit of those ancient Prophets, I do what I can living my 82nd year, interacting with these People on X or email. I never get replies and I understand why.
A painful and difficult morning. Innocent civilians, women, men, and children were brutally murdered and wounded in cold blood on a bus in Jerusalem by vile and evil terrorists. In the face of this barbarity, we saw extraordinary acts of heroism which prevented even further loss of innocent lives. This shocking attack reminds us once again that we are fighting absolute evil. The world must understand what we are up against, and that terror will never defeat us. My heart goes out to the bereaved families, and I pray for the full and swift recovery of the injured.
Every man is Righteous in his own eyes. Obviously you can’t see it, but the majority of the World can see women, men, and children are brutally murdered and wounded in cold blood by vile and evil terrorists dropping bombs from the air killing thousands of CHILDREN!
As for the Evil, you’re projecting as you defy the Lord God of the Jews. You speak of righteousness while presiding over the bombing of children.
The world sees the truth: you are not fighting terrorists; you are becoming the terror you claim to oppose. You defy the very God you invoke.
Scripture commands: “Love the stranger as yourself.” (Leviticus 19:34) “Give the stranger an inheritance among you.” (Ezekiel 47:22-23) Yet you subject Palestinians to occupation, apartheid, and now genocide.
You have forgotten that Abraham—a stranger in the land—was promised the whole earth, not a blood-soaked strip taken by force.
Repent. Return to the way of justice before the God of Abraham holds you accountable.
To the intercession of the Saints and the Virgin Mary, we entrust our unceasing prayer for peace, especially in the Holy Land and Ukraine, and in every other land blood-stained by war.
To those in power, I repeat: listen to the voice of conscience! The apparent victories achieved with weapons, which sow death and destruction, are in reality defeats and never bring peace or security!
God does not want war, he wants peace, and he strengthens those who are committed to leaving behind the spiral of hatred and taking the path of dialogue.
Which “Holy Land”? The small, blood-soaked strip in the Middle East—or the entire earth, which God calls His footstool? (Isaiah 66:1)
You speak of peace, yet confine holiness to a plot of land fought over for millennia. But Scripture says: “The heavens are My throne, and the earth is My footstool.”
If the whole earth is God’s footstool, then all of it is holy—and all of it is meant to become the Promised Land when humanity finally enters God’s rest. But today, “truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter” (Isaiah 59:14).
We see this in Gaza, in Ukraine, in the hypocrisy of leaders who bless weapons while praying for peace. You urge those in power to “listen to conscience.” Yet what conscience remains in empires that sell arms, bankroll genocide, and betray the poor?
Isaiah presents the choice clearly: Either we turn toward the rest of God—a world of justice and sacred belonging—or we face the fire of divine fury: “Behold, the Lord will come with fire… His rebuke with flames of fire.” (Isaiah 66:15) The “apparent victories” of weapons are indeed defeats.
But true peace requires more than prayer—it demands prophetic defiance of the systems of war.

President Trump met with Putin 3 weeks ago. Since then, Putin met with his fellow authoritarians to conspire against the US. Then he returned to Moscow to authorize the largest air strike on Ukraine since the start of his illegal invasion. It’s time to stop this liar and murderer.
Senator Tillis, you call Putin a liar and murderer? Look in the mirror. The US & NATO provoked this war by expanding eastward after promising Gorbachev they wouldn’t. That’s the original lie. This war is a direct result of American arrogance and broken promises.
You’re repeating the same reckless brinkmanship that nearly ended the world during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Kennedy wisely chose diplomacy over annihilation, but today’s warmongers—like you—would rather risk nuclear war than admit their policy failures.

Your hypocrisy is staggering. You condemn Russia for violating international law while supporting US-Israeli strikes on Iran. You fuel genocide in Gaza while pretending to care about peace in Ukraine. You are a servant of the Beast, not the Constitution.

The Price of Truth: Fear, Freedom, and the Divine Deliverance
The path of the watchman has always been fraught with peril. From Micaiah to Christ himself, speaking unvarnished truth to those who wield earthly power has often come at the risk of life and freedom. This ancient reality echoes violently in our modern halls of power, where fear has become a more potent silencer than any decree.
Today, after the tragic murder of Charlie Kirk, we see both Republican and Democratic politicians gripped by a palpable fear for their lives. The threat of public violence, born of a deeply divided and inflamed populace, holds them in a silent bondage. They fear stepping out, speaking up, or challenging the narratives that benefit their parties, lest they become the next target in a world where the streets are no longer safe for truth-tellers. This fear, ultimately, is a fear of death itself—a bondage that has paralyzed those meant to lead.
But Christ came to set the captives free. He declared, “If therefore the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36). And again, the Apostle Paul reminds us that through Christ, we are delivered from “all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery” (Hebrews 2:15). It is this divine freedom that breaks the chains of earthly fear. It is the conviction that there is a truth greater than any political agenda, a power higher than any human institution, that liberates the prophet to speak without compromise.

Not 1 standard Probation Condition was checked off. Typed in at the bottom of the form were these explicit words, “not to attend on the Sparks Street Mall or any other Street in Ottawa for the purpose of SPEAKING OR SHOUTING. I was sent to jail for the 1st Time in my Life for breach of that Probation.
In protest, I walked along the Sparks Street Mall with a sandwich-board sign wearing the gag over my mouth all Day long. I couldn’t move very far before a crowd about 6 deep gathered around me all day long, half of them having regular cameras long before phone cameras, taking pictures.
As the earth turned and the shade of the sun moved, I didn’t know who and when the Ottawa Citizen photographer was in that crowd taking the picture? It’s remarkable at the instant shot, the shade of the sun off my nose formed a perfect line between light and darkness. In the darkness is FEAR OF THE TRUTH and in the Light is EAR THE TRUTH.
