PATIENCE OF JOB – THE MAN/PATIENCE OF JOB – THE WORK OF FAITH

It is ironic the story of the Man named Job recorded in the Bible some 3500 years ago, is a word taking on so much more significance these Days. Many feel trapped in a Job they hate, or doesn’t pay enough to meet the cost of basic necessities to live, no matter how honest or hard working they are. More People are struggling to meet the rising costs just to subsist in the Free World.

Job the Man would have been viewed as part of the 1% Elite when he lived. He was fair and Just with his Servants, and helped those less fortunate than himself.

He had 7 sons and 3 daughters as well as seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of cattle, five hundred she- donkeys, and very much production; and the man was greater than all the children of the East.

Every Day, Job would pray to God, “Perhaps my sons have sinned and blasphemed God in their hearts.

Now the day came about, and the angels of God came to stand beside the Lord, and the Adversary, too, came among them. The Lord said to the Adversary, “Where are you coming from?” And the Adversary answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth and from walking up and down in it.”

When I think on those words of the Adversary (Adversary in the Jewish OT=Devil in the Christian NT) Today, not much has changed at all. The People still go to and fro with every new fad, style or rumour, and the People are either up or down in the extremes, and every place in between. This is not dissimilar to Christ’s recognition of those same Realities 1500 years later by these words, to this very Day.

And the Lord said,  To what then shall I compare the men of this generation? and to what are they like?
They are like children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and you have not danced; (up) we have mourned to you, and you have not wept. (down)
For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and you say, (Jewish Religious Leadership) He has a devil.
The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and you say, (Jewish Religious Leadership) Behold a gluttonous man, and a wine bibber, (liked his wine) a friend of publicans and sinners!
But wisdom is justified of all her children.

Getting to Job, the story continues,

Now the Lord said to the Adversary, “Have you paid attention to My servant Job? For there is none like him on earth, a sincere and upright man, God-fearing and shunning evil.” And the Adversary answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing?

Haven’t You made a hedge around him, his household, and all that he has on all sides? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his livestock has spread out in the land. But now, stretch forth Your hand and touch all that he has, will he not blaspheme You to Your face?”

And the LORD said to Satan, Behold, all that he has is in your power; but don’t touch him. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

job_-_sufferingAs he was praying for his children, a servant rushes in and says,

“The cattle were plowing, and the she-donkeys were grazing beside them, and Sheba fell upon them and took them, and they slew the youths by the sword, and only I alone escaped to tell you.” This one was still talking, and another one came and said, “A tremendous fire fell from heaven and burned the flocks and the youths and consumed them; only I alone escaped to tell you.” This one was still talking, and another one came and said, “Chaldeans formed three bands, spread out on the camels and took them, and slew the youths with the sword, and only I alone escaped to tell you.” While this one was still talking, another one came and said, “Your sons and daughters were dining and drinking wine at the home of their firstborn brother, when, behold, a great wind (tornado) came from the other side of the desert, and struck the four corners of the house; it fell upon the youths, who died, and only I alone escaped to tell you.”

The band of thieves Job was able to understand, even with no Insurance or 911 to call, but 2 Natural Disasters as well? The man was totally wiped out, psyched out, frustrated, and tormented like few humans have to go through, with the exception of War doing the same thing to many more people at the same Time. Not many humans would have the strength of character or Faith in the Eternal to react as Job did,

Then Job stood up, and rent his robe and tore his hair; then he fell to the ground and prostrated himself. And he said, “From my mother’s womb, I emerged naked, and I will return there naked. The Lord gave and the Lord took; may the name of the Lord be blessed.” Despite all this, Job did not sin, neither did he ascribe unseemliness to God.Job 2

We are born naked, and all Humans turn to dust at the end of our short Time on Earth. All of us are born toothless, dependant and vulnerable, having to wear diapers. Most of us leave this Earth toothless, dependant and vulnerable, having to wear diapers.

It’s what we say and do when we have our teeth between the Beginning and the End, that determines if we leave a Legacy for Posterity, or if we just turn to dust blowin in the wind.

There was another Day when the Sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord and Satan came among them. They have the same exchange as cited above, and the Lord says to the Adversary,

Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and avoids evil? and still he holds fast his integrity, although you moved me against him, to destroy him without cause.
And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man has will he give for his life.
But put forth your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse you to your face.
And the LORD said to Satan, Behold, he is in your hand; but save his life.
So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

Here the Lord consents to the Adversary/Satan being both Tormentor and Saviour of Job.

Walking alone in a crowd

Now Job was not only broke and busted, in constant pain, but he was also physically repulsive to look at if anyone has seen just 1 boil, never mind boils from head to toe.The-Patience-of-Job-1

Then his wife said to him, “Do you still maintain your sincerity? Blaspheme God and die!”  And he said to her, “You talk as one of the disgraceful women talks. Shall we also accept the good from God, and not accept the evil?” Despite all this, Job did not sin with his lips.job-2-10-ww-mf-900x

Job had friends who heard of his misery and came to comfort him. Seeing he was so tormented, they sat in silence for a week before speaking and then they didn’t comfort him at all, making him feel worse.Job and Friends

That discourse between Job and his friends is too long to place here, discussing the many Mysteries of God People still seek to understand Today, but in the end, after Job endured the trials and tribulation, it is written,

Now the Lord blessed Job’s end more than his beginning, and he had fourteen thousand flocks and six thousand camels and a thousand yoke of cattle and a thousand she-donkeys. And he had fourteen sons and three daughters. […] Nowhere in the land were women as beautiful as Job’s daughters to be found, and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers. […] Now Job lived thereafter one hundred and forty years, and he saw his sons and his sons’ sons for four generations.Job-James 5

While Job does not have a separate Book or Chapter in the Islamic Quran,

he is mentioned in several places with one or two lines.

In our 30 second sound byte Society, it does take the Patience of Job as in a Job, to question The Eternal and wait Patiently for the answer with an open mind and heart.

You enter in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in that way:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few there be that find it.

BACK TO THE FUTURE

It is 40 years ago TODAY, The Kansas City Times published this report, the 1st of 2 in the Spirit of ’76, as Americans were celebrating the 200th Anniversary of their Revolution.

Kansas City Times, September 13, 1976 (2)

When the Republican Convention was over, and the crowds left, I stayed behind and camped out at the Liberty Memorial Mall in Penn Valley Park. I was surprised how easy it was to just walk in off the street, with no money or organization behind me, and have a major Daily Newspaper chronicle my Voyage of Faith. Newspapers and Magazines Coast to Coast in CanaDa, spread over many years, also bear record of my Voyage in Faith just from walking in off the street as an individual.

From the interview, I had no idea what they would publish, and naturally, when it appeared 40 years ago Today, I thought it was cool the Date and picture were in sync.

“He came to town for the Republican National Convention  and will stay until the election in November to do God’s bidding: To tell the world, from Kansas City, this country has been found wanting and its days are numbered […] He gestured toward a gleaming  church dome. “The gold dome is the symbol of Babylon,” he said.”

These are the first two parts of the three part Writing On The Wall recorded in Daniel 5 during the Captivity of Babylon some 2600 years ago. Babylon is now called Iraq. It was not until 9/11 and 7 years later, with the Global Financial Meltdown-Economic Pearl Harbour-Tsunami in the Fall of 2008, the whole world was able to see the Writing on the Wall for the 1st Time at the same Time. The world has ignored it, still thinking it is a money-things problem, when it is a Spiritual problem.

The 3rd part of the Writing On The Wall tells of Persia, now known as Iran, becoming a dominant Imperial Power in the world, taking over Babylon 2600 years ago. History has repeated itself since the US invasion of Iraq/Babylon, the Biblical model of an Imperial Nation when Iraq was called Babylon. The US is the latest, greatest Nation to wear that Imperial Mantle since taking over from the British Empire after WWII. The Tail has struck the Head, and the reverberations continue to this very Day.

The world and America could not see that in 1976. It’s increasingly evident, from what the secular news media puts out these Days, the Revelation of the unfolding details of that General Vision in 1976 has, and is, coming to pass.

The September 13, 1976 article records, “There are 30 months before the Fate of the world will be sealed with either destruction or the Universal Brotherhood of Man,” he said. The 30 month figure stems from another biblical prophecy, he said, concerning a treaty with Israel…….

NOTE: That does not say Armageddon in 30 months.

The Facts of History show 29 months later, the 1979 Iranian Revolution happened. (Destruction) One month later, exactly 30 months after the September 1976 Kansas City Times record, the Camp David Accord was signed  between Israel and Egypt. (Universal Brotherhood) That took 13 days to negotiate, in sync with the Date and picture of the Kansas City Times record.

SYRIA: A WITCH’S BREW – ON THE ROAD TO TEHRAN

The September 13, 1976 Kansas City Times chronicle records the warning of an “idea being put out subtly and deceptively” by the government that we have to get prepared for a war with Russia.”

The Revelation of the unfolding events increasingly reported by Today’s Western news media demonizing Putin and Russia, indicate the TIME of the fulfillment of that prophecy is now at hand, unless saner heads prevail!

Unfortunately, all too often, it looks to me like this world has chosen the Destruction part of the 1976 prophecy. I still hold out hope this world will opt for the Universal Brotherhood of Man and Woman since the other has not happened – yet.

All sane and rational people should pay attention when this world’s major powers are flexing their military muscles, and either deliberately or accidentally, this world is brought to the Biblical End Time Judgment by Fire. This was never possible in the History of Mankind before WWII, but with 23,000 nukes between them, a misjudgment by fire is possible.

This is the attack scene from the made for TV movie ‘THE DAY AFTER’ Kansas city was destroyed in a nuclear holocaust which appeared 7 years after the Kansas City Times articles. Up to this realistic presentation of a nuclear attack, the Official government line was you would be safe ducking under a desk.

p.s. September 28, 2016.

With the death of Shimon Peres, former Prime Minister and President of Israel, and the tributes to him coming from so many Presidents and Prime Ministers from opposite sides of the ideological and political divides, he definitely was a Giant among men, shaping Israel and this world since the re-creation of Israel from the Bible in 1948, after an absence of some 2800 years.

For reasons anyone reading this should understand, naturally, because of this article with the September 13, 1976 KANSAS CITY TIMES record, I would be more interested and curious than anybody else in this world, to read these coincidences or designs only TODAY from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz:

“He never disavowed the Oslo Accords, which, in a coincidence that delighted the crazies on the right, was signed on September 13, 1993, 23 years to the day before Peres collapsed in Sheba Medical Center. His right-wing critics, who blame the accord for all of Israel’s woes, have never explained what their alternative is, other than to persist in the existing situation”

Seems to me the Spirit of the letter and the picture published by THE KANSAS CITY TIMES on September 13, 1976, is still moving and working in this material world.

It led to the 13 days it took to negotiate the Camp David Accord, signed in 1979, exactly 30 months later, as the September 13, 1976 KANSAS CITY TIMES bears the Historical Chronology and record it would be.

All parties to that Treaty did not live up to the Spirit of the letter, and The Oslo Accords were supposed to rectify the failures by not fully implementing Camp David. The Oslo Accords have also failed, as the Middle East is enveloped in Chaos that will spread to the larger world if corrective measures are not taken soon.

It also happened at that 1976 Republican Convention THE KANSAS CITY TIMES does not report, the Secret Service guarding President Ford called me out of a crowd of thousands in the Lobby of the Crown Center Hotel. They were looking up to the restricted mezzanine having the podium of the President as he was expected to be standing there any moment.

Try to imagine my unexpected surprise when, instead of questing me in some room out of sight, the Secret Service Agent led me to stand at the very podium of the President, where he proceeded to question me in the view of all those witnesses, and ABC,CBS & NBC broadcasting live.

Standing face to face with me, after about 12 questions, to my even greater surprise, these exact words came out of his mouth. “Are you Jesus Christ?” I had no illusions about that then or now, and immediately said, “No.”

They wanted to hold my big stick I walked softly with for ‘security reasons’ while the President was in the area.

Having the same image as the picture in the newspaper article above, I would think it’s highly unlikely anyone having such a Revolutionary image stood at the President’s podium anywhere before or since?

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders,

Hebrews 2

The Innocent Warrior

When born, one radiates pure innocence…

One’s eyes are the windows to the soul; while looking into the crystalline eyes of a newborn, one can catch a glimpse of a soul that has gazed upon God itself, an immaculate being returning from infinity, once more setting foot on the mortal plane, another chance; another journey began on the road of endless possibilities.

While staring into a newborn’s eyes, one takes a peek in the realm of God; it’s mesmerizing to witness such divine purity; it’s mesmerizing because it reminds us of what we once were, and gives us hope of what we may once be…

Though, untainted at birth, as one grows, the seeds of anger, jealousy, greed and hatred will soon sprout in one’s innocent heart, slowly growing, becoming a dark impenetrable forest, clouding the soul and dimming the light that once shone from one’s eyes.

After wandering through life, roaming the many paths of earthly existence, unknowingly indulging in society’s ungodly temptations, one may be fortunate enough to set foot on the warrior’s path; one may be even blessed with the strength and grace to keep said path up to the moment of returning the body to the elements.

What is the warrior’s path, one may ask?

The warrior is not a raging beast, a ruthless killing machine skilled in battle and bloodshed, no…

A warrior is anyone, any single one that can fight with honor and courage for a just cause in any way deemed right.

A warrior may be a soldier sacrificing himself heroically so others can flee the enemy, feeling in his heart that his time has come, he dives in battle for the greater good; he doesn’t look back, as he has no doubt, for he knows what is righteous and nothing will stop him until his last breath leaves his body.

A warrior may be a writer with a shattered heart, watching his brothers and sisters being subjugated by tyrannical rule; he courageously draws his sword, the mighty pen and writes tirelessly, fighting against what he deems wicked, day and night forging words that inspire hope and passion into the hearts of his brethren, words that undermine and mock authority; writing no matter the cost or the fate.

A warrior may be a mother, tired and broken, but still pulling through whatever hardships life has to throw at her, so she can raise her beloved offspring; working with dignity anything that is needed to provide, showing her children, by example, the art of living with honor and an enlightened heart, living selflessly in love’s grace.

A warrior may be a politician, bound by rules and regulations, suppressed by the higher powers controlling him; a politician that cannot stand his chains no more, he breaks free; rebelling, defying the structures that give him money and power, he is now one of the people; he draws a line in the sand as he makes his stand against the wicked, holding the ground of what is humane and right, unmoved by what he can lose, his soul stands tall, veraciously shining hope for the weak and striking fear into the hearts of those who he has betrayed.

A warrior may be a doctor with a dream to help heal the wounded world, another soulful dreamer doing whatever he can to banish suffering; a doctor that, when the time has come, will go to hell and back just to try to save the life of his worst enemy; he will even try to save the murder that took away his mother’s life; for in his heart he knows no boundaries for the sacredness of life, he has compassion for every being, no matter what.

Only after walking the warrior’s path for a long enough time, one toughens the mind and strengthens the will, but ultimately… softens the heart; using these tools one can continuously chip away at the dark forest’s vile trees that have been clouding the soul, after the last of them has been brought down, there will be no more trees, no more seeds, no more hope for evil deeds; only after that will one’s true light shine its might through the soul’s gates, one’s own eyes.

From an unknowing newborn the light of untainted innocence shines, for some time, but it is so fragile and corruptible… from the soul of an innocent warrior, the one with a scarred heart still filled with love, with a shattered soul, mended back whole countless of times, with eyes that have witnessed all of the horrors this world can spawn, still remaining compassionate; those eyes that shine light so bright and pure that can pierce through hell itself, effortlessly; that is true innocence, the innocence of the saints, incorruptible and everlasting.

Stranger, I urge you! Find the warrior’s path inside one’s self and start walking it today, walk this life’s journey, whatever it may be, with a pure soul and light heart; I urge you, Stranger, the world needs more innocent warriors, souls that shine like suns,  beacons for the millions wandering aimlessly in ignorance’s night.
