June 13, 2026: L’État, C’est Moi — The Gathering Storm

Most of the world recognizes the distinct character traits and faults that define the current leadership of the United States: a serial liar, an unpredictable megalomaniac, and a money-loving exploiter who runs the nation as if it were still a television reality show. Donald Trump does not need to speak the words aloud. His actions have already declared them:L’État, c’est moi. “I am the State.”

The sole/soul exceptions are the devoted members of his personality cult who see him as some kind of “Doctor Jesus” who will miraculously heal everything he has broken. The rest of the world sees the truth more clearly.

So where does this world — largely beyond our control — go from here in creating a better, more certain future?

Has Trump opened Pandora’s Box?

The limits of U.S. military power are now fully exposed.

The first thing we must face is the aggressive war that Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump started against Iran, violating the very same international law for which they routinely demonize Vladimir Putin. There is a great deal of demonization going on these days, because we are living in the time described in Revelation 16:13-16:

The “kings of the earth” today are the billionaires, presidents, prime ministers, and corporate executives — the idols that both secular and religious people follow.

This path did not appear overnight. For many, the roots go back to 1953, when the CIA and Britain’s MI6 overthrew Iran’s democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh after he nationalized the country’s oil resources.

Since 1979, the United States has waged relentless economic war against Iran. Trump pulled out of Obama’s JCPOA nuclear deal at Israel’s insistence, reimposed crushing sanctions, and eventually launched direct military strikes.

Arab states that each paid Trump $1 billion dollars to sit on his self-proclaimed “Board of Peace” were apparently not given a heads-up that an aggressive war with Iran was already in the advanced planning stages with Israel.

Now those same nations hosting U.S. military bases find themselves in the crosshairs. Iran’s legitimate retaliation will inevitably strike those bases. The Arab states will bear the brunt of a war they did not start.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent openly admitted the policy of deliberately destroying Iran’s currency to make daily life so miserable that ordinary Iranians would rise up in protest was implemented in March of 2025. It gave birth to that policy 9 months later in December

War Secretary Pete Hegseth has invoked God’s blessing on American warriors raining death and destruction from the sky — safe and far beyond Iran’s reach.

For all the demonization of Iran, the Strait of Hormuz remained open for 47 years until this war began. Now the “Samson Doctrine” — the threat that if Israel goes down, it will take the world with it — looms as a terrifying fallback.

While the world fixates on Iran, many refuse to acknowledge the merciless massacre of Palestinian women and children in Gaza — people with no defence against Israel’s U.S. weapons — and the ongoing violence in the West Bank.

This is not self-defence. It is the pursuit of a temporal “Greater Israel” by military might. The fundamental problem is this: the Promised Land is a promise. It cannot be taken by raw military force.

The inheritance is strictly conditional on doing it God’s way, not man’s way. Deuteronomy 28 makes this crystal clear: blessings for obedience, curses for rebellion.

Today, instead of standing as an example of divine blessing, Israel is increasingly cursed by global public opinion because of its serial violations of international law and its denial of the sanctity of all human life.

Without a profound spiritual renewal within Israel, and a rejection of hyper-militarism, the international community risks forcing a scenario where the Samson Option — total mutual destruction — becomes a real possibility.

For all the expert opinions promoted by mainstream media, few recognize what is unfolding: this expanding conflict is the beginning of the gathering described in Revelation 16 — the great day of the battle of God Almighty between Theocratic Israel joined with Theocratic U.S. Christian Nationalism and Theocratic Iran.

The choice remains what it was in 1976 in Kansas City: Destruction or the Universal Brotherhood of Man.

The door of repentance is still open. The Christ who rose on the Third Day still offers the only real way forward — not more war, not more debt, not more illusion of control — but a return to justice, mercy, and covenant. The choice is still before us. The choice is ours — individually and collectively.
